MH-60 ROMEO helicopters will join the Naval Aviation Command.

The reception and integration ceremony of the new helicopters will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at the Kotroni Naval Fort in Marathon, Attica. These are the helicopters with the serial numbers PN75, PN76 and PN77.

The Hellenic Navy with the inclusion of the MH-60 ROMEO in its fleet will increase its capabilities in anti-submarine warfare. The helicopters will operate alongside the existing S70 Aegean Hawk helicopters that are in the upgrade stage.

Greece bought 7 MH-60 ROMEO helicopters from the United States. After the 3 helicopters that have arrived, the remaining 4 are scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2025.
