The meeting between Greek and Turkish delegations in Thessaloniki, within the framework of the Greece-Turkey Confidence Building Measures (CBMs), has been concluded.
The new round of meetings between the delegations of Greece and Turkey, within the framework of the Confidence Building Measures (CBMs), was organized by the Greek Ministry of National Defence and took place today, April 28, 2025, at the 3rd Army Corps in Thessaloniki.
The Greek delegation was headed by Ambassador Theocharis Lalacos, while the Turkish delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Mehmet Kemal Bozay.

The delegations consisted of senior and high-ranking officers of the Armed Forces and other officials from both countries.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the implementation of mutually agreed Confidence Building Measures activities for 2025 and discussed the planning of activities for 2026.
As noted by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) in its announcement, “the meeting was conducted in a positive atmosphere”.
The next meeting on Greece-Turkey CBMs will be hosted in Turkey at a date yet to be determined.
