The NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-Greece (NRDC-GR) is currently conducting the final phase of the GORDIAN KNOT 2024 exercise in Thessaloniki, Greece.
This exercise aims to train the NRDC-GR headquarters as a War Fighting Corps (WFC) in planning and executing tactical-level operations on a multidimensional battlefield, in accordance with Article 5 of the NATO founding treaty regarding collective defense.
The final phase of this NATO exercise is taking place at the “PROKOPIDIS” Military Camp in Assiros, Thessaloniki, where the Distinguished Visitors Day (DV Day) will occur in the coming days.
The NRDC-GR is an evolving NATO command structure that maintains high readiness through various training activities and initiatives, ensuring its capability to effectively respond to any assigned missions across joint operational areas.
