The Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (HNDGS) delivered his New Year’s message to Greek Armed Forces today, January 1, 2025, emphasizing Greek History.
The Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) General Dimitrios Choupis with four phrases of encouragement, called Armed Forces’ personnel to continue to look to the future, stepping firmly on the centuries-old Greek land, with philotimo and clear gaze, and to walk as Genuine Greeks, projecting the “we” and not “me.”
The General Choupis’ New Year’s message:
“Continue to gaze into the future with philotimo and clear gaze. With your eyes on the deep blue Greek sky and our azure sea, stepping firmly on the centuries-old Greek land.
Continue to walk as Genuine Greeks, RIGHTLY and STANDING UP!
Continue to project the WE and not the I!
Continue to make leaps greater than the wear and tear of everyday life, pursuing happiness from personal success!”
