Greek Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias will welcome his Hungarian counterpart, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, at the Ministry of National Defense on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., as part of an official visit.
The meeting agenda includes a private discussion between the two ministers, followed by extended talks between the delegations of both countries. Afterwards, joint statements to the press will be made, and a working lunch will take place.
The discussions will focus on further strengthening bilateral defense cooperation between Greece and Hungary, developments in European defense and the defense industry, as well as regional and international defense and security issues.
This visit is part of ongoing efforts to deepen Athens–Budapest relations and enhance European strategic autonomy in the field of defense.
